Experimental Physics at Hadron Colliders

by Marumi Kado

Pre-requisites: The lectures are based on theoretical concepts discussed in detail in the following lectures: (i) The Standard Model (C. Grojean), (ii) predictions at hadron colliders (M. Seymour), (iii) Beyond the Standard Model (M. McCullough), and (iv) Theoretical concepts (A. Cohen), (v) the particle world (T. Shears).

The lectures are also based on experimental foundations discussed in: (i) Electronics, DAQ and Trigger (R. Ferrari), (ii) Detectors (W. Riegler), (iii) Foundations of Statistics (N. Berger), (iv) From Raw Data to Physics Results (P. Laycock).

The Q&A session for this course will take place on Monday, 27 July 2020 at 15:00 (Europe/Zurich). Please note that registration is mandatory for the Q&A session (deadline: 24h prior to the Q&A). We encourage you to submit question(s) to the speaker via the same registration form. However, live questions will also be allowed at the end of the session.
