Your internship project
You will get the chance to join in the day-to-day work of CERN research teams and to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment. It will give you the occasion to broaden your knowledge, skills and to discover other areas.
Your supervisor will contact you and explain your internship project in detail.
Most of you will find the CERN Library to be an extremely useful resource, go to library.cern and check out what you can borrow. Several books and journals are available in online format.
Project report
A short report on your work project at CERN will be expected at the end of your stay. You can find reports from the students of the past years here.
The report should be a 1-5 page document describing the work project you have been doing at CERN. Please write about your specific contribution rather than on the global work of the group. You can write about the work you have done, and also the conclusions and results you have obtained (Confidential results must NOT be included).
Your supervisor must have approved the report before submission.
Please submit your report on CDS (submit > Departmental Notes > CERN Student Project Notes) before the end of your contract.
